How to store your lingerie?

First and foremost, sort your lingerie by use, season, color, or style. Keep what you wear often within easy reach, and set aside specific or seasonal pieces.

How to organize each type of room?

Bras

Store them flat, with the cups nested inside each other, without ever bending the underwires. For wireless models, gently bend them halfway up the cup. Close the hooks and eyes to prevent snagging.

Panties, thongs, boy shorts

Folded or rolled into compartments. Sort them by type, color, or use for quick identification.

Bodysuits, nightgowns, bustiers

Hang on padded or velvet hangers. For strapless pieces, use clip hangers.

Use the right accessories

Accessory What is it for?
Adjustable dividers Drawer dividers to create custom compartments. Perfect for keeping everything from getting mixed up.

Suspended organizers To hang in the cupboard or behind a door: practical when you lack drawers.
Rotary dispenser A rotating tower with visible squares. Allows you to easily grab a piece without disturbing the others.
Multi-level hangers One hanger to hang several nightgowns, bodysuits or bustiers. Guaranteed space saving.

Protect your valuables

Store luxury sets in cotton, satin, or silk pouches. Use tissue paper to protect delicate details. Place them in a closed drawer, away from light, dust, and humidity.

Slip a small scented sachet (lavender, rose, cedar…) into a corner of the drawer so that your lingerie smells nice without being in direct contact with the perfume.

For the most fragile or expensive items, invest in separate storage: a rigid box, a lined cover, or even a lockable drawer. And to prevent mold or humidity, add a natural absorbent (such as bamboo charcoal or a bag of dry rice).

The mistakes absolutely avoid

  • Folding underwire bras: this deforms the cups and can be uncomfortable to wear.

  • Leaving lingerie lying around loose weakens and deforms the fabrics.

  • Using hangers that are too thin or made of metal: they leave marks on the straps or cups.

  • Applying perfume directly to fabrics: risk of staining or irritation.

  • Storing lingerie in the bathroom: humidity damages fabrics and promotes odors. Humidity also encourages mold growth, odors, and premature wear of fabrics.

These common mistakes shorten the lifespan of your parts and can impair their comfort or appearance.

How to fold a bra without damaging it?

Store it flat, with the cups nested together, without bending the underwire. This prevents deformation.

How to perfume your lingerie without damaging it?

Use natural sachets or lightly spray a linen spray from a distance. Never spray directly onto the lace.

Where should I put my underwear?

In a dedicated drawer, with dividers or boxes to organize them properly and prevent them from getting damaged.

How to store your underwear in a drawer?

Roll them up or fold them, then store them in compartments to save space and see everything at a glance.

How to store things when you don't have space?

Use hanging organizers, under-bed boxes, or multi-level hangers to optimize every nook and cranny.
